Playing

Swipe up or down on Discover to choose a game, then tap Let’s play. During a game, swipe the marked rail at the bottom of the screen to change games. In landscape, the rail is on the right. Use All games to search the collection or tap a heart to save a favorite.

Tap Pause to take a break, resume or restart. The controller button shows extra touch controls for games that use keys. Some activities have their own touch controls.

Sound and settings

Settings controls game sounds, arcade music, haptics, interface language and break reminders. Individual games may also provide their own sound buttons. The app and games support English and Spanish. “Use iPhone language” follows your preferred supported language and falls back to English. Choose English or Español to save a manual preference. During play, Pause → Language opens the same setting. Word games begin a fresh round when their language changes; language lessons preserve the words being taught.

Grown-up corner

Online multiplayer and camera/microphone activities start turned off. A grown-up can enable them from Settings → Grown-up corner. iPhone also asks for permission before camera or microphone access. Turning online play off closes active connections; turning media activities off stops active capture. Permissions can also be changed later in iPhone Settings.

Connection and saved information

The game collection is bundled with the app. Most activities work offline. Online multiplayer requires internet access. Favorites, preferences and game saves that a game supports are stored on the device. There is no cross-device account sync. Removing the app can remove its locally saved information.

For a problem report, ask a grown-up to provide the game title, app version, iPhone model and a short description. Do not include a child's full name, photos, passwords or private information.

Annual Arcade Pass

Download the app for free. Annual Arcade Pass is US$1.99 per year in the United States; the App Store shows the applicable local price elsewhere. An active subscription unlocks all 366 games. It renews automatically unless canceled. In Settings, open Arcade Pass, complete the grown-up gate, and choose Subscribe or Restore Purchases. Use Manage Subscription or iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions to manage or cancel renewal. Canceling renewal preserves access through the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel billing. An internet connection is required to purchase or restore. If a pass does not appear, check the Apple Account used for the purchase and tap Restore Purchases.
